Use of Time

Thinking determines the use of time; time does not rule over thinking! The problem of spirituality is never, then, a question of time; it is a problem of thought. For it does not require much time to make us saints; it requires only much love. -- Bishop Fulton Sheen

It is never true that we have no time to meditate; the less one thinks of God, the less time there will always be for Him. The time one has for anything depends on how much we value it.   -- -- Bishop Fulton Sheen

It is not particularly difficult to find thousands who will spend two or three hours a day in exercising, but if you ask them to bend their knees to God in five minutes of prayer, they protest that it is too long. -- Bishop Fulton Sheen

Those who make the worse use of their time are the first to complain of its shortness. -- Jean De La Bruyere

Ordinary people think merely of spending time. Great people think of using it. If you want to make use of your time, you've got to know what's most important and then give it all you've got. -- Lee lacocca

Besides this you know what hour it is, how it is full time now for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed; the night is far gone, the day is at hand. Let us then cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light; let us conduct ourselves becomingly as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in debauchery and licentiousness, not in quarreling and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. -- Romans 13: 11 - 14

Don't count every hour in the day, make every hour in the day count. Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time. -- Jim Rohn
